I don’t like the code, but the code likes me.
So what should I do? This Girabelhinha site is using one of my desktop images as their background. Sure, that’s not so bad (except for the insane download time of having a desktop image as your site’s background), but what is bad is that they’re linking directly to my site for the image. Instead of downloading the image and linking to it from their own site, they’re using my site’s traffic without any benefit to me. And what’s worse is that I don’t know what language the site is in. So, should I: 1) try to e-mail and communicate with this person to ask them not to link to an image on my site, 2) change the filename of the image so they can’t link to it anymore, or 3) be really nasty and change the image to something else to mess with their background? Or another option I just realized I should do anyways—put a copyright and my signature on all my desktop images.Permanent Link.
Today the power went out while I was in the shower. Which wouldn’t have been so bad if I hadn’t closed the bathroom door. Which wouldn’t have been so bad if the bathroom had windows. Showering in the dark is not fun. Hopefully it’s an omen that we’ll win the lottery tonight. But then I hope everything is an omen for that.Permanent Link.
Can I write something daily? Let’s see. Here’s something I’ve wanted to say which started this whole idea: Long finger nails are good, even on guys. They give you an extra quarter inch before slicing off your finger while cutting vegetables.Permanent Link.
