318th Star Killers
The 318th Star Killers are a relatively new squadron. Formed in 2380 with the construction of Lauderdale Station complete, their role is to maintain GTVA authority and law in the Pollux system. This is important because not only does Pollux have many mineral rich planets and asteroids, but being only 23.7 light years from Capella, the first light (and any lethal radiation) from Capella will arrive in Pollux in 2390. The completion of Lauderdale Station and the formation of the 318th Star Killers allows the GTVA to provide security to, and keep the peace between, all the different mining corporations racing against time to drain Pollux of it’s resources.

3rd Redeemers
One of the first twelve squads formed in 2381 following Admiral Deirdre Wallace’s resignation from the GTVA, the 3rd Redeemers have had a history of aggressiveness towards GTVA incompetence and hypocrisy. The Redeemers have played vital roles in helping to acquire new ships and weapons for the EOC. The Redeemers also played an important part in the pivotal first battle between the GTVA and the EOC, when they were part of the attack group that tried to take the newly finished Colossus-class juggernaught, the “Atlas”, in 2382.
