Drifting Away

I’ve forgotten how to smile
I’ve forgotten how to kiss
I’ve forgotten how to laugh my worries away

I’ve forgotten how to hug
I’ve forgotten how to cuddle
I’ve forgotten how to wait for another day

And I’ve grown pale and stale
As I watch the world spin by
And I feel glad and sad
It’s cold in a way

Today,
     Tomorrow;
Whatever,
     Whatever
Wishing for dreams to enter a soul
Wishing for memories to revive a dream
Wishing for a soul to make the memories
One,
     Two;
Somewhat,
     Somewhat

And I’ve grown farther and closer
It’s cold in a way
And I feel high and sigh
As I watch the world spin by

I’ve forgotten how to breathe
I’ve forgotten how to talk
I’ve forgotten how to forget

And it’s cold,
     As the world spins by.
