Rising out, of my sheltered nest From my cocoon, into harshness Afraid of the stars, terrified of the sun I’ve come too far, too soon, to lose, I’ve won Transfixed by dreams Scorned by fantasies Alone again it seems Thrown back in stormy seas Holding still, down a waterfall The noise and screams of nothing’s call Ring my heart, like the end of it all Transfixed by dreams Scorned by fantasies All that it ever means Is not what he sees Oh, out of here, let me find comfort With or without much of a consort To be found withered, all along Leave and flee now, I’m already gone Holding still, like the end of it all.
